| Guangzhou, November 18th, 2008 - Mercedes-Benz (China) Ltd. is displaying a strong line-up of more than 12 vehicles at the 6th China (Guangzhou) International Automobile Exhibition. Mercedes' is using this international event as the platform for the exciting launch of the new GLK. From this date forward, two models of this new luxury mid-size SUV will be introduced into China market, the GLK 300 and the GLK 350, priced at RMB 598,000 and RMB 698,000 respectively. With the launch of the GLK in China, customers will be able to get behind the wheel of a GLK as early as January, 2008, even earlier than the vehicle is launched in North America. The arrival of this new luxury mid-size SUV marks the beginning of a new car segment in China which will provide customers a unique driving experience. This new product launch was not the only exciting event at the Guangzhou Motor Show; during the press conference, a heated tennis match ensued before a very pleased crowd. The exhilarating match captured China's enduring post-Olympic fever while highlighting the GLK's young and dynamic design elements and Mercedes' rich heritage and brand values. Mercedes is launching the new GLK and showcasing more than 12 vehicles in Guangzhou as part of the auto manufacturer's strong commitment and new strategy to China's auto market.
